Why HG Is Right For Me: Andres Malovos
If I’m not at work, you’ll find me making the most of everything Santa Barbara has to offer. Whether that’s cycling through the mountains, rising early for a morning run, or testing, and besting, my lap times at the karting track. I balance it out by kicking back with family and friends—and at HG, I have plenty of time to do this.
I started working at HG Insights 5 years ago, and I haven’t looked back since.
My work involves helping people, more specifically, helping customers get the most out of HG’s data, and it’s rewarding. Actually, being in Customer Success at HG Insights extends beyond the typical customer success role. I’m also a conduit between our customers and all our different departments.
Customer engagement is the primary focus. But I also get to work with our sales, marketing, data, product, and engineering teams to help develop products that ensure a valuable customer experience. I also get to figure out different ways to work with each customer, from onboarding, to growing more comfortable with our platform, to mastering the use of our data.
One thing I like about working in customer success at HG is that we treat each customer as an individual, with a unique use case, business needs, and ultimate objective.
Most of my day is spent working with our customers on data solutions, answering questions, and following through on the strategy we outlined together. I also help demonstrate our product when customers want to extend the footprint of our data to other groups and departments within their organizations. Working with customers as they develop their ABM strategy, while we concurrently develop the data offering to help them implement that strategy, is a satisfying process. I’m grateful to be a part of it!
Every customer is a bit different, which is great, as no two days are the same for me. This daily variety is one of the things I enjoy most about my role. Also, it’s rewarding to be the liaison between our customers and internal teams to achieve our customers’ goals.
It’s great to set out on a journey with our customers, working to make progress each day, and then looking back to see what we accomplished together, and what we learned along the way. The team works together really well, and we all learn from each other.
