Tech Intelligence Bulletin (HG Insights) – SiriusXM, the world’s largest audio entertainment company, is rolling out Slack company-wide.

SiriusXM expects to use Slack as part of its audio production, event management and marketing to bring together people and applications.

Workforce integration

With the acquisition of Pandora Media last year, the most popular music streaming app in the U.S., SiriusXM employee ranks have expanded. SiriusXM and Pandora now reach more than 100 million people with their audio products and services. The introduction of Slack as SiriusXM’s choice of a technology and productivity tools is an important part of the company’s continuing efforts to integrate its geographically diverse workforce.

With over 1,500 apps and a robust API, the Slack platform team work with partners and developers globally to build apps and integrations that streamline work, automate mundane tasks and bring context into conversations in Slack.
