The SOC 2 is an auditing standard developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (AICPA). The SOC 2 Type 2 certification is based on the following “Trust Services Criteria”: security, availability, and confidentiality. The certification provides assurance that the above Trust Services Criteria are in place to effectively safeguard customer data.
