Magic Quadrant (MQ) is a series of research reports produced by Gartner IT Consulting Firm that outline market trends, as well as the maturity of the market and current market participants. The Magic Quadrant is comprised of two axes: the “Completeness of Vision” axis and the “Ability to Execute” axis, which creates the four quadrants: Leaders in the upper right, Visionaries in the lower right, Niche in the lower left, and finally Challengers in the upper left. The Magic Quadrant can be useful for IT product selection.
